Joe Delaney Cup Final 2012 Preview

This Friday evening see's the long awaited clash between Clonmel Town and Nenagh AFC in the 2012 Joe Delaney Cup Final. This should be a cracking tie, both sides have met twice this season in Provincial and National competitions with Town coming out on top in both games by the narrowest of margins so third time round it should be extremely difficult against a side waiting to prove a point. Town will also go into this game with something to say having been thrown out of the competition unfairly last year for been unable to field a team because of the Leaving Certificate. Town won their League and Cup with consumate ease but have not played for a couple of weeks so will look to start the game well. Town are without inspirational Keith Browne through suspension and winger Kevin Kirwan but apart from that have a full squad to choose from. Game kicks off at 7pm in Newhill Park. Best of luck to the team and management.
